Joey Cape "Bridge"

Joey Cape's distinct voice has been firmly planted in the punk rock/indie music world. He has been the lead singer for Southern California's Lagwagon for many years and many albums. You can also find his great guitar work in punk's premier cover band Me First and the Gimmes Gimmes(though you'll rarely be able to distinguish his singing). You will hear him sing in Bad Astronaut and most recently The Playing Favorites. Yes, all of these bands are definitely worth checking out and they are superb in their own way, but now we get to hear the man on his very own for the first time. I am quite excited about this solo album of his that should be out in the next couple of weeks. It will be interesting to see how his art will breathe without all those pesky band members in the way. You can order your copy of "Bridge" here from Vinyl Collective. I jumped all over that limited brown vinyl version! It even comes with a free poster, and beer coozie!! Can't beat that!

Check out the first track that's been released, a beautiful, mellow tune...enjoy!
