Turbonegro "Apocalypse Dudes"

One of the greatest rock n' roll/punk albums of our time. From start to finish, every song rocks SO hard and is SO catchy that it's still phenomenal after all these years. There are not many albums out there where every song is a perfect anthem. Even if you don't care or don't agree with the lyrics, you can not deny the hard rocking hooks. I know some might be detoured by their denim and moustache ultra-gay style, but just listening to the opening track "Age of Pamparius" will win you over(yes, he's singing THAT passionately about pizza).
If you like The Ramones pop hooks and straight forward chord progression with searing lead guitar and super heavy-but-slick European production, don't wait any longer to add this album to your collection. You'll hear obvious nods to Black Flag, Guns N' Roses, The Damned, and AC/DC to name a few.

Their story goes back 20 years with many twists and turns that I will not go into but you can read all about here. All you need to know at this point is that these Norwegian punk n' roll geniuses made a perfect album back in March of 1998 called "Apocalypse Dudes" and have inspired a shitload of artists, including Jello Biafra, Queens of the Stone Age, The Dwarves, The Supersuckers, Zeke, Nashville Pussy and of course paved the way for the Swedish punk n' roll revolution a few years back. That time period brought us The Backyard Babies, The Hives, and the mighty Hellacopters.

I'll only pick one song to share with you here, it's the one that gets the most spins on MY turntable. Turn it up LOUD and buy the album here NOW.
Please enjoy...
