Sub Pop Featured Single Part Two

For anyone who doesn't know, Sub Pop had come up with the great concept of a monthly subscription service where you pay in advance for some rare 45s to show up in your mailbox throughout the year. This was usually the only way to obtain these releases and once they were gone, they were gone forever. Sub Pop is currently in the middle of the third version of the Singles Club, but no more subscriptions are left.

May of 1990 brought us the 19th single in the series. This record is the only single by this band that did not appear on any of their albums before they broke up in 1995. This was also the only record they ever did with this label. There were 2,000 copies on gold vinyl, and the black vinyl is actually the rarer version with only 1,500. There is rumor of a few red vinyls out there somewhere, but as of now it's only rumor.

I love this song and it was my first introduction to this powerful trio from Minneapolis, Minnesota. From Babes In Toyland, please enjoy...
